Lor is a group of 4 talented Cracowian girls: Julia Skiba (composer and pianist), Paulina Sumera (lyrics writer), Jagoda Kudlińska (vocalist), and Julia Błachuta (violinist). The band performs music that is extremely atmospheric, based on the sounds of violin and piano, which perfectly harmonizes with the subtle and endearing vocals. They say about themselves that they play folk, and are inspired by the performes such as Tom Rosenthal, Sóley, Agnes Obel, or Birdy.
Lor was founded in 2015, when under the influence of Friedrich Hundertwasser’s painting The Garden of The Happy Dead the first song was composed. In September that year they released their first music video – Windmill, which was met with very good reception and interest of such media as TVN or Polish Radio. On February 16th, 2017 they released another one video – Keaton.
