Jana Shostak – doctor of arts who has been an activist since 2020. A realist who demands the impossible. She believes in the effectiveness of art, solidarity, the power of cooperation in culture. Since 2016, she has been consciously using mass media as a platform to share her art / activism activities. Co-director of the yet to be made film “Miss Polonia”. She represents the civic initiative “Partyzanka” which helps people forced to flee for political reasons from Belarus to Poland and for 7 months supported people forced to flee from Ukraine. Participant of exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
Every day at 6:00 p.m. (until the end of the revolution and one day longer) she takes part in “a minute of shouting for Belarus”.
