What did the interwar shtetls and Jewish quarters of large cities and towns look like? What was the everyday and festive life of Jewish families like? What did Jews do in the Second Polish Republic? What did the synagogues that did not survive the war look like? We will find answers to these and many other questions at the exhibition.

The photographs show large cities and towns where Jews often constituted the majority of inhabitants. They reveal a multithreaded picture of the world of Polish Jews. The photographs allow you to travel back in time and help to bring the lives of those who are their heroes closer.

We will see the irretrievably lost world in over a hundred thematically divided black and white images.
