Three Ages
A brilliant historical satire teeming with inventive flourishes, Buster Keaton’s THREE AGES is a silent comedy of truly epic proportions. This clever parody of D. W. Griffith’s INTOLERANCE follows Buster’s hard-luck romantic adventures throughout world history: form the dawn of man in the Stone Age, through the gladiatorial arenas of Ancient Rome, to the city streets of the American Jazz Era.

By flavoring the ancient stories with bits of modern comedy (e.g. the “spare tire” with which Buster repairs his chariot, the “home run” that he scores against an angry caveman), Keaton not only won raucous laughter from the audience but forged an original approach to history, humor, and cinema that clearly foreshadowed the Mel Brooks and Monty Python films that followed half a century later.

MIFI – representative of young, ambitious dub / chill / goa / ethno scene in eastern Poland. Renowned for his collaborations with Miss God, Królewski Sound or Metro club, he co-created the Tribalanga Festival. You can see in the chillout scenes of psychill, techno or goa all over Poland. So far, he has visited most of the best Polish clubs, spreading his musical world. Since his childhood MIFI has been into roots music which is the backbone of his musical search. It is interesting how in his sets he presents Jamaican sounds in a modern way. Subtly combining organic music with synthetic ambient, dub-techno, he sometimes manoeuvres on the edge of glitch or idm. Taking British techno of the late 80s, jungle, detroit or modern ambient, he can build a space that cleverly creates exotic roots atmosphere. This is not in any way disturbing, but on the contrary – there is no  monotony in his sets, and in order to understand it, you have to hear it.
