Manivald, a fox, is turning 33. Overeducated, unemployed and generally uninspired, he lives with his overbearing, retired mother. It is an easy life, but not a good one. This unhealthy co-dependence changes when the washing machine breaks down and Toomas, a sexy wolf repairman, arrives to fix it, and them.

Romania 2018, 28’

At the end of summer, 60-year-old Laura Vasiliu leaves for holiday to a village on the Bulgarian coast with an old friend of hers. A stranger shows up and disturbs what was supposed to be a quiet vacation.

Olda is a defendant waiting for his trial in a detention center for juveniles. The monotonous prison life is gradually intertwined with memories of a police reconstruction. It took one summer night for holiday boredom to turn into cruel fun that resulted in death.

Solar Walk
director: Réka Bucsi
director of photography: Réka Bucsi
music: Mads Vadsholt
Denmark 2017, 21’

The journey of individuals and their creations through time and space. Any meaning of the plot exists only in an individual’s perspective and is never universal when perceived from the perspective of the solar system. It’s about the melancholy of accepting chaos as beautiful and cosmic. The passion for creation is projected through the unique and playful texture of the craft of animation itself.

director: Dmytro Sukholytkyy-Sobchuk
director of photography: Michał Rytel-Przełomiec
Ukraine, Poland 2018, 30’

At first glance, this is a story of the true price of a victory. Tragic news interrupts Petro’s preparations for an important weightlifting tournament.

Here and here
director: Michaela Mihalyi
director of photography: Michaela Mihalyi
Czech Republic 2017, 2’

Home sweet home, or what we like/don’t like about the places where we live. This anidoc works with authentic interviews with people from smaller and bigger towns and cities and colourfully animates their alter-egos, who are no less real than their live counterparts.
