Ladies and Genlemen!
For several decades now, November has been an exceptional month in Białystok, a month of many blues discoveries and emotions. In November, Blues All Souls’ Day and our oldest festival, Autumn with Blues, take place, during which we host fantastic artists from Poland and around the world, as well as blues fans from all over the country.
Unfortunately, this will not be possible this year, and the 36th edition of the festival, planned for November 19-21, has been canceled due to the pandemic.
On the other hand, we are pleased to announce that the City of Białystok wants to honor Ryszard “Skiba” Skibiński (the originator of Autumn with Blues) and name the square in front of the Białystok Cultural Center after him. The ceremony will take place in the coming days. From 19 to 22 November, the bugle call played from the tower of the Białystok Town Hall will resound in a bluesy, harmonica version performed by Tomek Kamiński. This tradition has been accompanying Autumn with Blues since 2012.
